Problems installing trial version of Photoshop.

I have an old copy of CS4 that I can't get to load on my latest PC for love or money, even though I loaded the same version of Windows as before that I used it on (Win 7 64-bit). So rather than get frustrated I decided to take a look at CS 6 on a trial basis to see if I liked it enough to subscribe. Only problem is that I can't get the thing to load! I download the installer, initialize it, and a blank box pops up that just locks up and does nothing - I actually have to turn off the computer to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

to install cs6 or newer versions sold by adobe (all via creative cloud), install the cc desktop app from here https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and use it to install your trials and subscriptions.

before you do that though, clean your computer by following the instructions here Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Just to clarify, you have Win7 & cannot install CS4?

Are you using a Windows User account with full admin level permissions?

CS6 is legacy software now.  It's no longer sold or supported.

Perhaps you downloaded the Creative Cloud trial?  Did you get any error codes?  See link below.
