Problems uninstalling CS6

I am a CC subscriber using a laptop with limited drive space. I am trying to delete the CS6 apps from my system to make more space. When I try to uninstall, the system tells me I need to update my Adobe Application Manager. I downloaded it, but it says installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor. So I did this, but when I try to launch it, I get an error message saying it can't be opened because it is from an unknown developer???  Can we please make this easier?

That message is from Apple Gatekeeper in OS X.
