Problems with license and activation

Hello,

I have two computers activated for CC (monthly subscription) as allowed by the Adobe license, one notebook and my stationary computer (I'm not using those installations at the same time).

Since a couple of days I'm automatically logged out from CC Cloud and thus have to login again to use my Adobe products.

After doing so, it happens once in a while, that the software I'm actually using is telling me, that too many computers are in use and that I have to deactivate one of them to continue. But: there is one activated computer shown by name (e.g. MYPC) and another one called "This computer" but they are both the same machine.

So, I deactivate "MYPC" then and "This Computer" is activated. After using the software for a while the same thing happens vice versa and I'm going back to "MYPC" from "This Computer".

To be clear: nothing was changed on the computer, no new software, no new hardware, no new network configuration etc. it just happens during usage.

Why is it like this all the time? Why am I logged off at all and why all this confusion with activated computers who are the same machine?

It's really annoying and costs me a lot of time and nerves ...

Thanks for letting me know what I can do about this.

    Hi Boris,

Sorry to hear of the inconvenience. Haven't seen that before, but it sounds like it could possibly be a bug if you're only ever using two computers maximum.

It could be helpful if you submitted this information to:

Adobe Product Feature Request/Bug Report Form

(Select "Creative Cloud" in the product dropdown)
