Proofing Problems

Hi there!

I do A LOT of proofing with my job and was wondering if there was an action I could create that would select the order number box (I would copy paste order number) and then go to the date box and it would automatically add in "todays" date?  Also is there a way to auto sync/scale images dropped into a proofing template to be the same size?  I waste so much time on making sure original vs. proposed print are the same size : (
