PS and LR crashing in new MacOS Catalina

I'm experiencing some strange things when running PS and LR in MacOS Catalina.  Both. programs are crashing during background saving of files and during editing work in PS it like the graphics are getting all jumbled up.  This only happens in Adobe products.  This has slowed down my production time and has cost me to lost edit files.  Is there any patches, update something to resolve this.  If this continues I will have to find other means or editing software....
