PSE 12 installation problem on Win7

Yesterday I bought a physical copy of PSE 12 at Staples; it had a Redemption card enclosed.  On my first attempt to install I did not have right serial no., so opted to install the trial version; I got into Organizer and pull up one photo but made no changes to it.  Then I registered with an Adobe ID & got the serial no. from your website.  Tried to install non-trial PSE 12 from my disc, but was told "trial has expired" when I tried to get into PSE.  Tried again with same result.  Deleted the PSE stuff from my Programs folder(s), and later the Adobe folder in my Documents library.  On trying again to install PSE from disc, I again find "trial has expired".  I realize I did not follow the Adobe directions precisely (I am a clueless user who relied on GeekSquad to set up my PC which was bought new in Oct. 2013 with Win 7 and has been working fine). What do I need to do to get PSE  running?

ADDED A FEW MIN. LATER:  Oh.  Now I see it actually lets me use PSE after all. So with the trial expired message just be there for a month and then disappear?

Yes.  When I say the message about the trial being expired, I thought PSE would not let me do anything. Then I realized I should just try it.  So all is OK now.

Mzairly did you complete the redemption code process and obtained your serial number?  You can find more details on how to obtain your serial number at Redemption Code Help - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/redemption-code-help.html.
