I'm trying to reinstall my PSE 7. When I enter the serial number it says it's wrong. It isn't wrong. Adobe won't help me because of the age of the version. They gave me the dang serial number when I bought my PSE 7. It should work since I paid for it. Any ideas on what I can do?

Find your Adobe product serial number quickly

A real eye opener on this. It appears that adobe products are only good for one computers lifetime if you aren't one of the people who run out to buy a new computer every couple years. Adobe arbitrarily decides that the product you bought is too old to be any good anymore and makes it invalid. So when you buy a new computer, you have to buy a new PSE. I didn't see any mention of this when I bought my PSE7. And now the only help they will give is to tell me to buy PSE 14. Great idea. Then they can make that invalid down the road and tell me to buy the next newest version.

I've done a lot of searches and it seems that the invalid serial number is a pretty common issue with all adobe products old and new. And it's been going on long enough for them to have come up with a fix. If they wanted to....
