PSE14: Serial number is used in max. allowed computers

Hi all.

I have PSE14 installed in 2 computers. Unfortunately one of my computer died and I was unable to salvage its HD to uninstall the installed PSE14.

I install PSE14 in a new computer. Now whenever I run Adobe Elements in the new computer, the following error occurred: The serial# is used in max. allowed computers.

I use https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html  provided by the community to contact customer support. But there is no link for customer support in the page. I use https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html to contact customer support but clicking on the 'Contact us' link in the page does nothing. Not sure what to do next... btw I login to adobe.com when I tried to contact customer support. Thanking you in advance.

Use a browser that accepts cookies and does not have script blockers.   Or try using another web device.

When you can't deactivate a serial number (this is the ONLY support Adobe still offers for old programs)
BE SURE TO ONLY ASK FOR ACTIVATION SUPPORT TO ADJUST YOUR ACTIVATION COUNT
You may need to PERSIST or TRY AGAIN to find a support agent with more experience

This space is provided by Adobe, but it is not Adobe support
Sorry, nobody here can help with an account or payment problem
This is a public forum, you need the link to Adobe support, not other users
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
-you MUST make sure that your browser does NOT block ads, scripts, or pop-ups
-you MUST also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for the link to work
This link will go directly to the chat option
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person
-Meaning type in the word Agent without the quote " " marks

.
Adobe does NOT do support by email, so beware of answering anyone who sends you a private message

Thank you for your detail explanation John.. I appreciate it very much.

I contact adobe support via the chat link as you suggested. Below are the steps.

1. The page ask me me what type of support I need. I select 'download and install'. Click 'Get started' on 'Other Adobe apps'

2. Scroll to the end of the page and click on 'start now' link (see attached picture)

- The page shown in step 1 is displayed instead of a chat window which I expect.

Put it simply, I am unable to contact Adobe support to reset my count. Can you check if the same happen for you? I want to confirm the issue I am seeing is not related to the browser and/or its settings?

Thanking you in advance
