error message received: Windows is searching for Photoshop Elements 11.0.exe. To locate the file yourself, click browse.

This message is displayed when trying to use the shortcut or clicking on the program file name under Programs.  The only way I can

get Photoshop Elements to open is by clicking on an image file that was changed during the installation process to an elements file.

right click your problematic link(s) > click properties > shortcut and repair the target string to point to your pse 11.exe

The target file is set up to exe file. I also have Photoshop CS4 installed on my computer.

Could that be part of the problem? http://forums.adobe.com/message/5011413#5011413
