question / help?

i have the boxed CS6, recently purchased.  I also had the trial CC on my computer to help me decide which softare I wanted.  I decided to purchase the CS6 Boxed. 

Problem, after about one week of working on the CS6, now I get a message saying the serial number is installed on another computer, (there is no other computer this is installed on.)  the box was manufacturer sealed, so I feel there was no issues there, but I do not know what to do.  It says serial number is in use on maximum computers and for me to deactivate another computer within in (now 20) days.

There is no other computer.  Can any one help  on this.  I see there is a trend of problems similar to this.

Also, after reading sites, I de-installed the CC trial from my computer to see if that helps.  It did NOT help.  same message continues.
