Quit red button not working

Creative Cloud red quit button is not working properly on my Mac, it minimizes the app instead of quitting it. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using version 4.8.2.476

no, that's what it does.

if you want to close the cc app, click the three dots at the upper right>click quit.

thank you, but I was expecting that button to quit the application... I mean quit button function should be to quit not to minimize

That's not the way the app works. The window is closed but the program continues to run in the background as it is needed for some CC functionality.
