Raw support for Elements 10

I have been using various versions of Elements for years to process RAW images.  I recently (2 months ago) bought the Sony RX100 and updated to the latest Elements – 10.  RAW support was not available for the RX100, but was promised for the next update to Camera Raw.  Indeed Camera Raw 7 does include coverage for the camera, but is available only for Photoshop CS6.  What’s the story?
