Re-activate CS3 on a new computer.

I have bought a new laptop and want to install CS3 on it.  There was not option to deactivate on my old desktop.  The error I get is "the serial number is not valid".  I am the original owner of the CS3 software.

    Thank you for the reply.  None of the suggestions works with my situation.  I will find a way to get in touch with Adobe customer service.

    adobe customer service will probably direct you back here because they offer very limited support for non-current versions, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service1.html
