I just bought a new MacBook Pro 15", which has macOS10.12.6 I did install legacy Java SE 6 runtime for CS5 and verified it and it still won't open. I have the same software on my MacBook Pro 13 and it works on that. Any suggestions? Thanks Karen

I did all of that, it didn't work. So now I uninstalled it and I am reinstalling it from the disks, I shared it to my 27 inch iMac which has the CD slot and connected it to my laptop hoping that that will work. Thank you for the information.

    Hi Karen,

As you have mentioned you are having trouble installing and using your Adobe CS5 suite on Mac OS Sierra, just to confirm have you tried all the steps given in the following help document to resolve the error: Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra) ? If not, I would recommend you to try the troubleshooting shared in it and see if that helps.

Let us know if this helps.
