I get the same thing. Everytime I restart my Mac the same download is available.

I have the same issue with my Mac (OSX 10.11.5).

Same for me, every time I open the Mac I get the same CC download message. I must have "installed" the update at least 6 times to no avail.

Looking at the earlier branch of this discussion, I don't get any error messages - just repeated download message.

Sort it out Adobe, we're paying for the service.

I would recommend you try the "Uninstaller" utility created for Creative Cloud desktop app given in the below link to remove it from your machine.

Once you have successfully removed it, kinldy refer to : Can't update CC Desktop to 3.7.0.272
