Re: Cloud Desktop App is blank?

Is there a more permanent fix to this issue.

On my iMac - everytime I startup and login to CC manager I have to go through the whole thing of quitting it, renaming the opm.db file to _old restarting etc etc. it then works for a day (until I close the machine) then I start all over again.

On my Mac Laptop - can't login CC or any applications. Tech support spent 2hrs on this trying to fix then said it needs to got to a senior support, that was over a month ago and not heard anything since

If anyone can shed some light on it would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi Lee,

I believe you are referring to the blank white window of CC desktop app.

Please refer to the threads below where this issue has been addressed:

creative cloud is blank window why?

Cloud Desktop App is blank?

New Creative Cloud App unusable: it's blank!

Thank you very much. Unfortunately this direction didn't work. When I locate OOBE there is one alias file named PD App.

I am now trying to download CC from adobe. I recently updated mac to El Capitan...

I didn´t want to go through all the trouble renaming and reinstalling so I tried something else and it worked

1. When you get the blank screen; click on the upper right corner of the blank screen. If you hit the correct spot the menu appears and you can choose quit.

2. Restart the application... and there is no more blank screen (until next time)

I had tried this before and couldn't get the menu to appear, but after seeing your post I tried it again (because the blank screen appeared again!), clicking all over that top right corner, and bingo! I got it and yes, it worked Thank you!

I don't know if you've fixed your problem. But I wanted to reply here because this has been such a frustrating problem for me, and none of the solutions provided worked for me. Below is what I did that seem to have fixed my problem (on a mac):

- Go to activity monitor (applications>utilities>activity monitor.app).
- Under 'process name' find 'creative cloud' (not the other creative cloud related processes).

- Go to 'view>quit process' (or option+command+Q) to quit creative cloud running in the background.

- reinstall the creative cloud app (currently the link is: Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe Creative Cloud trial).
The creative cloud window reappeared! Hope this helps...
