Re: Creative cloud keeps telling me to download the apps, when I already have the app open.

Hi Kanika,

I have the same problem, on Mac Monterey 12.6.5

Ai is open as well as Creative Cloud.

here are some screen shots; this is the sequence of events, numbers 1-2-3.

    I'm not seeing any issue in your sequence. You want to open a file that is from Illustrator. You don't have it installed, so creative cloud desktop app opens and then prompts you to install. Did you install? Did you run into any issues?

    Hi Ben M,

    That is the core of the problem, I have Illustrator install, and somehow the browser and CC dont recognize this fact.

    Strange.

    you added to a thread that started by someone else and still being answered by that other person and would-be helpers.

     

    that makes for a very difficult to follow thread. ie, one conversation at a time per thread is preferable.

     

    so your post has been branched to a thread of its own.

     

    p.s. attaching image files instead of copying and pasting them makes it a lot more difficult for would-be responders on mobiles, like me.
