Dave, I have a question.. I currently have CC running on two machines, I plan to cancel one machine so that I can use CC on a new machine I brought. BUT before I deactivate 1 machine I wanted to just download (not activate because I know its not possible) CC on my new machine so that I am sure all programs are installed, BUT I have problems on the new machine because the installer stops at 10% I have tried a dozen times and same problem.. Any ideas ???

I have branched this to a new discussion for you.  The  other one from 2013 is out of date.

As soon as you install Creative Cloud on a 3rd machine, your other 2 devices will be automatically de-activated until you re-activate one by signing-in to your Creative Cloud account.

Please ensure your new computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to run the latest versions of Creative Cloud + all other apps you intend to use.

Post back if you have any questions.

Thanks Nancy, All Macs  are on 10.13.6 with 32 MB ram. The problem is I cannot complete the installation on my new machine. From the CC site I can download the installer, then after its downloaded I am asked to continue by entering my email addresss and password. ..thats all OK (verified) then click on the continue and a box comes up showing the progress of installing CC but after 10%  It stops?? Tried this several times no luck. So thought I would log out of Mac 1 and Mac 2 (de-activate CC on Mac 1 & 2) and start again on the new Mac (3) and same problem, cannot complete the download of apps and CCcloud..max 10%. ?? WTF

No.  The installation problem you're having has nothing to do with your other activations.  Read the links that Peru Bob posted earlier in this thread.

    I had a similar issue.

Make sure that you have all Windows updates that are available.

The one thing that was causing it for me, believe it or not, was that I needed to do a clean installation of the latest Studio graphics driver from the NVIDIA website. After doing that and restarting, all was OK.
