What do you do if the cleaner tool will not run?

Thanks for your help Jeff,  Windows 7.  My Creative Cloud kept closing as soon as I opened it.  I made numerous attempts to fix the situation:  Safe Mode, sign off - sign on; resetting permissions, OOBE folder, etc.  Nothing worked.  I tried to uninstall Creative Cloud, but it said I couldn't because of my other Adobe apps.  The only way I was able to remove all Adobe apps was to log on as administrator (I have admin rights on my own log-on, tried safe mode also.)  Once all Adobe products were removed I tried to reinstall Creative Cloud, but it will not reinstall, I get the above message box to download again..  I never could get the Adobe Cleaner Tool to run, even as administrator.

Ok thanks Krerath I would recommend working directly with our support team at Contact Customer Care to clean up the current installation of the Creative Cloud desktop app so that you can reinstall your applications.

If you face any additional difficulties you are welcome to update this discussion with the case number from your interaction.

Krerath make sure you are using the uninstaller utility available for download in the link in message #6 of this discussion.  If you continue to face errors uninstalling the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application then please post a screen shot of the error.  You can find details on how to post a screen shot at https://forums.adobe.com/thread/963429.

    Branching to a new discussion.

Krerath thank you for the update.  What version of Windows are you attempting to install on?  What happened prior to the Adobe Creative applications functioning properly?  Did you perform a system restore or copy the application files from one drive/partition to another?
