Re: Creative Suite CS6 reinstall

I have the same problem. I can log in to Adobe account and see the Dreamweaver CS6 purchase and the licence number. But there are no Download function. And the support is impossible to contact althought there is a very clear statement that you could contact them, there's even a headphone-symbol!!! Completely misleading information. The bigger company, the worse help.

    Adobe stopped selling/supporting that version about 3 years ago

    Go here for all older links https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-direct-download-links.html
    -Prodesigntools is an official Adobe partner, and the links go to Adobe, not a 3rd party site

    IF/When you do have a download, be sure to copy it to AT LEAST one external device
    -you should ALWAYS keep a copy (or two!) on an external device
    -since Adobe DOES SOMETIMES REMOVE OLD VERSIONS FROM THE SERVER
    -a usb flash drive or external hard drive, or write to a CD or DVD
    -plus a text file containing your serial number if you have a serial number program

    @davidt93231056.

    Assuming you have a computer that can support legacy CS6 and a legitimate serial number, you can install with your original installation disks and activate your software.

    No disks?  Obtain a direct download from Pro Design Tools website (above) but it might not be compatible with your license.   That's the risk you take with unsupported software.

    NOTE 1:  Legacy CS installers won't work on Sierra, High Sierra or Mojave without terminal workarounds.  See below for more details.

    https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/install-creative-suite-mac-os-sierra.html

    NOTE 2:  Creative Suite will NEVER install on Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey or Ventura++.  If you're using a modern Mac, you need modern software that's compatible with your device.  Or you must revert to an old computer that's compatible with old software.  Your choice.

    @davidt93231056 ,

    that's not the same problem. the op has a serial number problem.

    you have no significant problem (yet). adobe still provides downloads of older software via prodesigntools.com as explained above.
