Re: CS3, Acrobat 8 ~ Activation Servers Retired
I have always been a faithful Adobe software users. Now! I'm having second thoughts. My CS3 has worked for me without a problem for years. Now Adobe is forcing me to upgrade or up-sell me another product I do not want to buy. How is it POSSIBLE that an Activation Server is RETIRED???? Machines don't retire! People do! In my opinion, this is just another way to FORCE customers into buying another product. I was on my laptop for 16 hours yesterday (Sept. 3, 2017) with Adobe Chat Support. I chatted with 4 different people from the Middle East on this CS3 issue to no avail. I spoke with Adobe Support Live this morning with a female from the Middle East. She said there is nothing they could do to help me except up-sell Adobe's Creative Cloud Plan for $29.00 per month! Are you KIDDING ME?
I don't know one person with CS3 or CS4 that has been successful with this new so called Activation Code or installation from Adobe!
What a blow below the belt! Does ANYONE know a workaround for this horrible situation Adobe has put us in?
Retiring the Activation Server(s) in my opinion was the GREATEST BETRAYAL Adobe could ever done to destroy a faithful customer base. The sad part about all of this is, I also own CS4! I have always liked CS3 better. So, as you can see, I'm really screwed!
Thanks Adobe!
