Re: CS3 - Still getting Activation Error Message with new Installer

Jeff

I obtained new serial number and downloaded new CS3 and ran exe file.

But in the system check, it says : It can not be installed because it conflicts with Adobe Illustrator CS3.

Anything wrong that I did?

    Brian penny can you please clarify what you mean by conflicting with the Illustrator CS3 installation?  Are you receiving a specific error message?  For information on how to locate errors in the installation log see Troubleshoot installation with install logs | Adobe Creative Suite 3, Adobe Creative Suite 4 .

    Jeff, I get this, and I know the numbers I put in match what Adobe gave me. I copy/pasted each segment to make sure.

    Needless to say, i uninstalled the old file and deleted cashe file, too
