Thanks for more information Chris, the error you are receiving is due to macOS transitioning to only allowing 64-bit applications. For information on Adobe's plans to address this see the following FAQ: Creative Cloud Help | macOS High Sierra (10.13) compatibility FAQ | Creative Cloud.

Adobe is committed to provide latest features and updates for all the current Adobe Applications to its customer's. For more details regarding the future of Creative Suite 6 please see: Creative Cloud now includes Creative Suite Master Collection and Design Premium features.

    Hope this helps.

(Branched out as a new discussion)

    Hi Chris Herbert,

As you have mentioned you would like to upgrade your computer's operating system and install Adobe Creative Suite 6 on it, please be aware that Creative Suite applications are not supported on macOS 10.12 (Sierra) and therefore, many of the Creative Suite installers may not function normally on macOS 10.12.

CS6 is a pretty old software and Adobe has not tested it on any of the latest operating systems. Hence it may or may not work, you may also have compatibility issues.

However you may try installing the product using the work around given here: Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra).

Let us know if this helps.

Just to make sure we are on the same page...I have to re-install in it on the same computer? After I upgraded to high sierra I tested Adobe Creative CS6...when I opened Adobe Premiere CS6   I had a caption pop up showed up saying, "adobe_licutil" is not optimized for your Mac. This app needs to be updated by its developer to improve compatibility. It then gave me the options to click learn more and okay. When I clicked on learn more it opened my saraffi it said, the internet was not connected or something like that. Can you please provide me the information from learn more since I was not able to see it?
