Hey, I can't see how solution three to that topic provides any relevant information. Are you sure that's the right link? It says nothing about HOSTS files, just about checking cloud for updates.

The link i have shared above has been updated and it no longer contains the fix for hosts file issues:

Instead that fix to clear hosts file entries was included within our Creative Cloud cleaner tool, see: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems.
