having same issue no fixs have worked for me yet. goes to 2% then says error 72 an jumps to 5%. i am UPDATING , NOT installing.

As you have mentioned you are trying to update the Creative Cloud desktop app however, it fails with an error 'Error code 72'.
To resolve this issue perform the steps mentioned under 'Solution 3' of the following help document: "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app"
After this download the and install the desktop app again using the direct download links given here: Download Creative Cloud desktop app.
