I also have this issue. It's super annoying. Adobe, please do something about it, asap. It's unthinkable that company I work for is paying not little money for the software and it's crippling my system [i7 7700k, 32 gigs of ram, nvme drives, etc.]

I am also seeing this same issue on computers only running Acrobat Reader. Exact same behavior as described, it's eating up all the processing on one core of my CPU (25% or so) constantly. As IT for my company this is distressing.

I'll be happy to submit logs. But I've seen this same issue on at least a dozen computers in my environment.

Hi,

I'm following this discussion because I'm having the same problem - "AdobeGCClient.exe *32" is eating up a lot of my CPU while I'm not using any Adobe products. This thread has apparently been marked as "question answered," but I haven't seen any answer, only a request for logs. Did I miss it somewhere? Would appreciate help on this. Thanks.

Branching to a new discussion.

Uplink7777 what Adobe software or service are you utilizing?  Are the software titles registered on http://www.adobe.com/?  You can find details on how to locate your registered serial numbers at Find your serial number.

Hello All,

I am having the same issue as the other user here. A process called "Adobe  Genuine Software Service (32bit)" is using 14% CPU (and sometimes there is another process also using 14% CPU called  "Abode integrity" something). These 2 processes seems to be related to the service "AGMService.exe". I am having this issue on 2 computers (one of which is new since yesterday). I have installed creative cloud and only have Adobe DC installed (installed though the creative cloud app. I'm on window 10 latest version. Adobe liscence is a corporate liscence (by signing in using company SSO).

I have tried the link Jeff gave for find your serial number but the link is old and no longer works. Can somone please send me instructions on how to extract the install logs or find my serial please?

Regards,

Val
