Re: How to resolve 'No Internet Connection' error with Photoshop Elements

Lenovo PC running Windows 8.1

This problem is back again, with the newest update to Adobe Creative Cloud.  All CC apps worked fine for me until CC updated yesterday.

Now, periodically CC takes my computer offline, and hangs Chrome, typically about 3-5 minutes after restart.  After 5 minutes (or even longer) of a hung computer, the internet connection returns and eventually resolves itself, and then this happens again about 10 minutes later.  I thought it had something to do with the update manager, so I disabled the service, but that didn't work.

None of the above strategies work, including disabling firewall, changing proxy settings, etc etc etc.

In frustration, I finally uninstalled CC and all the apps entirely, and tried installing Acrobat Reader DC.

Same problem.

Adobe, please fix!  I can't be the only one experiencing this problem since the latest update to CC was pushed through over the last few days.

The only real solution is uninstalling Adobe products entirely.

Any progress on this?  Still getting the no Internet Connection problem, the latest updates to CC do not solve it at all.  This is happening on multiple computers now, with Win 8.1 and Win 7 Pro.  I will say, at least on Win 7 pro computers it doesn't take the entire computer down.  CC on win 8.1 is a total disaster and causes the entire computer to hang and lose internet connectivity.

..and by the Way, this isn't restricted to Photoshop elements.  This is all Creative Cloud
