Re-install after HD reformat ...

I have to reformat my HD, and have this question ... I run Contriute 6.5, bought as an upgrade in December 2012. When I'm reinstalling everything, will this version run as full-featured, or will I have to also install previous version(s) and install 6.5 over the top? Thank you for your help.

Just install 6.5, enter your 6.5 upgrade serial number then enter the serial number from an earlier qualifying version (4, 5 or 5.1) when prompted.

You'll then have the full featured 6.5.

Thanks so much for your rapid and helpful reply ... which took some of the sting out of the (unwelcome but necessary!) project of re-formatting my HD!
