I have tried several times to obtain CS5 for my new computer by downloading. I own the disc version and my new mac does not have a disc drive. I went on to the adobe site and put in all of my login info, I downloaded the cs5 suite. The download gets all the way to the end and it says it is finished and then I cannot get passed the “eject the disk image”… I can give you all of the serial numbers of my cs5 suite, I am not sure how to get it to download and open on my brand new macbook pro 15 inch 2015 edition.

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319

    -and more on gatekeeper https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT202491

For Mac El Capitan or the newer Sierra operating system read below

-CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan/Sierra

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

-you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

    -Java https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/dreamweaver-java-se-6-runtime.html may help

Adobe did not change your old program to make it stop working... Apple changed their operating system and THAT is why your old program won't work, not because of anything Adobe did

    Branching to a new discussion.

Vivianp61385289 what version of Mac OS are you attempting to install Creative Suite 5 on?

Okay but I did that. But nothing happens. I looked for files in applications folder and they are not there. There is no way to open the program, it is not there.

If I download, then what do I do when download finishes?
