Re-installation problem on Mac

Hi. I am using Adobe apps on Mac. I moved from old mac to new mac, when PS CS6 and Illustrator CS6 stopped working. Even uninstaller did not work. I manually deleted all files and tried to reinstall, but installer wouldn't work. I then installed both apps from "root" login, and they worked fine. Then I logged in again to my account, where both apps are installed, but crash as soon as I start them. Adobe help assistants refused to help and they suggested me to come here. Please help. Thanks.

Thanks @Atul_Saini for your reply, but I did NOT mention Adobe Creative Cloud. This is not Creative Cloud, but the earlier version Creative Suite 6 (CS6). Though, I still tried all the steps suggested in the post, and have also tried using Uninstaller etc., but no luck, as already mentioned in the original post. Please suggest me if you know how to manually clean all the files of CS6 from my mac so that I can try the installer again, which refuses to run now. Thanks.

    Hi Manolya%20BLC,

As you have mentioned that Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application lists uninstalled Adobe apps as up to date please use this link to troubleshoot it.

@prabhatv5089529, please follow these same set of steps and share the results.

    Thanks

Hello friend, I am having a similar issue with Illustrator. I had downloaded Illustrator after purchase but decided to remove because of language settings. I removed manually like you did. And now Creative Cloud says that I already downloaded it but I don't have it in my computer!
