Re-installed Photoshop tried to update and I get a serial number upgrade message and updates will not work.

I am trying to pull up NEF files from my Nikon D800 and Photoshop does not have the correct version installed. Please help.

    I went to google and was able to track down the update and updated manually without using Photoshop auto update function. I had to re-install my Photoshop and from the message there is a key update function which I could not find. This key update is what is keeping Photoshop from updating.  Maybe someone can help, I did check my license key on line and it is correct .  Thank you for anyone taking the time to read my post.
