Re: Installing Photoshop through CC on an iMac (Mavericks) fails at 90 percent - ASU has quit unexpectedly.

All, I came onto this because I am having the same issue of the download hanging at 90%

I can see that the Adobe support is pretty shocking so I tried a few little things and it seems there is a reporting error where the program appears to be still downloading however it has completed and installed....

If you open the CC installer and go to the settings wheel top right the select "Creative Cloud Files" from the drop down box you should open a new window...

On the left hand side select "applications" and then find the folder called "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014"

Open that folder and there should be a fully working link to your installed photoshop software in there top left... Worked for me, hope it helps the rest of you...

And if anyone from Adobe is reading, there is an obvious glitch with this preventing people opening the file with ease. It really needs fixing, do not ask me for error logs or make me jump through hoops, just fix the problem that is obviously affecting many of your customers!
