I too have done all the above steps including deleting the cach file. When I run the exe file I get an error saying:

you can only install one adobe product at a time. Please complete the other installation before installing CS3

I have no other adobe program installing.

I can not uninstall CS3 from the control panel.

What do I try now??

    Hi Bkchance,

    As you have mentioned you are unable to install the Adobe CS3 on your machine as it is giving an error "Another installer is running".

    There could some other process or installer running in the background, please close all Adobe related processes and windows installer by following the steps given here: Close conflicting processes or applications interfering with Adobe Creative Cloud app update or install.

    Also you may try shutting down the machine and starting it again and then trying the installation.

    To uninstall the CS3 product you can use the Adobe CC cleaner tool, see: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems.

    Thank you for your response. I've done all of the above several times including rebooting, even trying it in safe mode . . . .

    Checked the task manager again. Ran the creative cloud uninstaller and it finished with the message uninstalled with errors.

    Any more suggestions?

    Hi Bkchance,

    As you have already tried a few steps that Bani has shared, I would request you to use CC cleaner tool and remove "Adobe Application Manager" and then try to reinstall Adobe CS3 using the steps mentioned on this link: - Download Adobe Creative Suite 3 products​.

    I would also like to inform you that Adobe CS3 is a very old application and it was never tested on the lasted OS Win 10, so you my experience some unexpected behaviour. We also have some limited resource to offer for Adobe CS3, however, we would try our best to help you out with it.

    Please feel free to update this discussion after trying the suggested steps.
