Rajshree

i found you on the forum. you seem to be staff... and adobe no longer seems  to have any help  for older products.

I have CS5 or 5.5 ( i cannot find out which.. how can i do that? ) design premium

in my account, it says i have no registered products. and every time i try to register the serial number , it says it is already registered.

if my serial number is registered, where is it registered?  and why doesn't it show up in my account?

I have never been able to access any updates to my CS-5

i have tried for years , adobe is absolutely crap at helping customers.

I have been told by apple that adobe has free updates to allow CS5 to run on el captain  but cannot find out anything about this from adobe.

on the internet it seems most design premium apps will run EXCEPT in reason for some reason. why is this...

I am not a heavy or commercial user. i do not intend to rent any adobe products but i would like to be able to use the products i have already paid a great deal of money for.

thank you

I am branching this to a new discussion since the other one is already handled.

I am moving this to the Downloading, Installing, Setting Up forum since it does not relate to Creative Cloud.

I don't see any purchases on your account using the email/AdobeID that you used to login on this forum. If you already registered the software, you need to login using the same email/Adobe ID that you used when you registered the software and you can find your serial number.

Please see: Find your serial number quickly

If you purchased used software from someone, be sure to transfer it to your account:

Adobe licenses need to be transferred when they change users. Transferring the license allows the new owner to register the software in their name. Both the transferor of the license and the recipient must complete a Transfer of License form. The product serial number must be registered in the Adobe profile of the transferor to transfer the license. You must qualify under the Transfer of License policy.
