Jeff, those are the first 2 sites I went to and they weren't helpful. The chat offered by adobe is the worst I've ever experienced.  It took forever for anyone to respond and I happened to walk away from the computer and missed them.  Do they really expect someone to sit at the computer for an hour to wait.

In the end, I begged a salesman to connecct me to a live person & then his manager who was able to help me.  It turns out the serial number was not in my packaging and he had to get one for me.

I've dealt with many online chat services with Comcast, Apple and Brother and they are light years better than Adobe.  Had I known how hard it would be to get support from them I woulndt have purchased their product.

does anyone know how to reach a live person at Adobe??  I've tried their #800-833-6687, but they don't take tech  calls and you can't even reach a live person.  I've never dealt with a copany that provided such awful customre service.  I've been waitinf for a chat rep for hours
