Reactivating CS3

After a crash I had/have to reactivate Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Standard. So I did - successfully! BUT, When opening the apps (InDesign CS3, PhotoshopCS3 or IllustratorCS3) I STILL get the message ”Temporary activation”: You have 3 days to reactivate Creative Suite 3” (in Swedish - my mother tongue. Adobe has no support in Swedish!). The reactivation does not seem to work! (Of course I have first asked Adobe in their chat before writing this.)

What to do?

1. The Adobe support does not answer (after 24 hours now) - despite I have a Case Number. When they do, will they e-mail me an ”alert mail” or do I have to wait here in front of the screen all week long, not to miss their answer so that they maybe close the case?

2. Can I get more days of ”Temporary activation” if the problem is not solved within these 3 days?

Correct answer Ned Murphy

If you are trying to activate using your own serial number and installation program that is likely the issue.  You need to acquire the new version along with the special activation code.

Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8

Thanks!

The ”CS3 Acitvation-the solution” - link may be the solution for me. However I can´t find ”AdobePCD folder” in my Mac. Is that solution just for Windows?
