Real or counterfeit?

I just bought a PhotoShop CS6 Extended from an individual online. Inside the case, there is a "product key" and instructions to install. The first instruction is "Cut the internet off" and then it continues to describe how to install and activate without the internet. Is this a legitimate copy? The DVD was in an unopened shrink-wrapped case. My virus software doesn't like the file "keygen.exe" so I haven't tried to install yet. Can someone provide info on this?

"keygen.exe" is a programme designed to generate fake Serial Numbers. There's no reason for it to be on a genuine Adobe disk.

Genuine Adobe software also requires Internet access.

Was this eBay? How much did you pay?

Sounds counterfeit so far but hard to tell with limited info.

Yes, this was ebay and I paid just less than full retail price. What info do you need?
