Receive installation errors when reinstalling CS3
I have been happily running my fully licenced CS3 until Nov 22nd
- then suddenly I get the "licencing for this product has stopped working"
So GREAT - my work software just went west... - the exact same as Tedweinstein (I could have written it myself!)
I tried ALL the fixes in this thread.
Now it wont re-install CC3 - AT ALL ...
I cant even install Adobe Reader - for heavens sake !
I 'was' thinking about getting some up to date stuff from CC and even tried Fuse (over 3 months ago : and when it worked, it was in harmony with CS3 - as it should be) But - Adobe inspire zero confidence when some of your CC products are flawed as well (Adobe Fuse Won't Open! – Mixamo ) - and that has not been fixed in a YEAR.(+ The Cloud CC desktop itself is so buggy it is unmentionable , I have already had to re-install that 3 times due to auto updates not working correctly & the CC systems are mega CPU/Memory invasive)
Now, I made no changes overnight between the 21st and 22nd - The machine was off :
So who could have blocked my perfectly valid fully paid for licence on the 22nd? - what happened Adobe ? : did the licence database fail ?- is the licencing server flawed ? - have some changes to the system broken CS3 licencing ?
I have installed no other software or updates : my machine is locked down as tight as can be (which is why I am not yet on Win10)
Please fix it Adobe : we gave you our money - We paid for working software with a perpetual licence - we have not all been attacked by the latest "lets-get-everyone-pissed-off-at-adobe" virus - the people suffering are too disparate - stop playing ostrich in the sand, and realize that this is not "customers being stupid" - Something has gone wrong : and we need to know how to fix it , Not have the same old same old "non-working" have you tried this "fixes" echoed at us time after time.
A full paying customer since early Macromedia days ... is thinking of walking out of the door.
I have already had to D/L M$ Expression & Gimp.... and I resent it... greatly.
A slow hand Clap Adobe
