Recently bought a new mac os x, version 10.0.4 and in moving my adobe applications over, found indesign CS5 wouldn't open. Is there a patch to make the program compatible?

Recently bought a new mac os x, version 10.0.4 and in moving my adobe applications over, found indesign CS5 wouldn't open. Is there a patch to make the program compatible? All my other adobe programs transferred over fine, but the helpful people at mac said that it looks like a compatibility issue and CS5 won't work with my new mac. how can i fix this?

If you transferred your programs between machines that is probably the problem.  You should install Adobe applications using installation files.
