Recently bought captivate 9 subscription and installed on Win. When I try to install I get message "The file archive part of Adobe Captivate 9 is missing etc etc etc."

I've followed the links and installed all the files into the same folder (as directed by Adobe) that were there. VERY frustrating...Any suggestions?

you need both the 7z and exe files.

    Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

This did, indeed, work for me. I just used the .7z file and installed using its extracted files. I didn't even need/use the .exe file.
