Redeem from older version of product

Hello I purchased photoshop elements originally in 2014 and still have the product and serial number in my account. I got a new computer and downloaded photoshop elements 2021. Am I able to use my originally purchased PSE serial number to activate the 2021 version (like it is an upgrade)?

If so, how? I cannot seem to find a redemption code. Thanks!

A redemption code is used only once to get a seial number. You will need your version 14 serial number to activate an upgrade purchase of PSE 2021.

I'm not sure if 2014 qualifies you for an upgrade because it's 6-7 years out of date now. And PSE 2014 might not be compatible with your new equipment and OS.

For Mac Catalina you need PSE 2020 or higher.

For Big Sur you need PSE 2021 or higher. See link below for more details.
