redownloading PS onto a new computer

purchased and downloaded photoshop a while ago, have got a new computer and want to install the program onto it. Have checked my order history but as it was over a year ago it does not appear for me to redownload.

It is an older version, is there a way for me to retrieve the download file?

if you follow all 7 steps you can dl a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/tag/ddl

and activate with your serial.

if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

I get to extracting the files, which finishes at 100% then the window closes. When reopened it does the same thing, no icons appear on desktop or anything.

also following the first 3 steps to download acrobat, the format of the website won't allow me to see the "i agree" button on the pages of the terms and conditions as its an imbedded window and cuts off the last couple of paragraphs when i've scrolled all the way down i log in, see the T&C and then can't progress from there

don't extract anything explicitly.  adobe files are self-extracting.

just click (or double click) the exe file.
