Reformatting my pc, will it effect my digital download for CS6?

Hello, I read something about de-activating and activating CC apps. But, i bought the digital download version of CS6 back in 2015, does the same method work for  the digital version as well? (I wanted cd, but couldn't get it in time..)  I need to reformat my computer, but I'm nervous i will lose CS6 for good.  I see the download link is still in the order section.  Please don't tell me that i'll be forced to start using Creative Cloud, or lose CS6 all together if i reformat my laptop..

Side question: I think i read somewhere about 2 downloads. Do you only get two downloads for the digital version, or can only have it active on two computers at once? Because I had to fix my computer around the time i got CS6, i don't recall if i already used up one download if that's the case.(That makes me even more nervous on fixing up my laptop..)  Thanks all, and i hope this was the right place for this.

    You need to be VERY sure you preserve the original digital download AND the serial number. You can't always easily get another download. Always make sure you have copies of these OFF YOUR COMPUTER eg on a memory stick in a safe place.  You don't get two downloads, you get two INSTALLS.
