Hi Oscarp,

That's a bummer. I've never had that happen with Adobe, but I have definitely forgotten about other free trial sign ups until the charge came through.

So... to the issue.... Adobe has changed the way their free trials work. As you have found out, the 7 day trial now automatically converts to a paid subscription on day 8 unless you manually cancel it first (How to cancel your Adobe Creative Cloud plan or membership). After that, you have a 14 day grace period during which you can cancel for a full refund.

If you are outside the 21 days of free trial + grace period, the amount of refund you can get depends on the plan you selected when setting up the trial. Based on your post, it sounds like you have a monthly payment plan of some type. If you chose "Annual plan, paid monthly", which is the default choice, you can get a 50% refund on the remainder of your year's contract. If you chose "Monthly plan" you will be out the money for the month, but you won't have any further payments if you cancel promptly.

Of course, you can always plead your case directly with Adobe via chat: Contact Customer Care. They may or may not be willing to help, but it doesn't hurt to ask. You could also try disputing the charge with your bank, but based on the info you inputed when you signed up for a trial, I'm not sure how much of a case you would have for doing that.

Good luck! Let us know if you have further questions.
