registering and serial number upgrade problem

When registering CS6 Master Col. I have this message: serial # valid but a qualifying prod. could not be found. Nothing ppertinent for me in the list and my serial isn't accepted for anyone...

therefore registration cannot be completed....

    Sounds like you've got an Upgrade version.

    In order for the CS6 installer to accept the upgrade serial number it needs either:

    • to find an existing CS5 installed on your system
    • you to enter a CS5 serial number to prove eligibility for the CS6 upgrade serial number

    So do you:

    1. have a CS6 upgrade version?
    2. have a CS5 serial number?

    If you do have an upgrade CS6 but don't have a CS5 serial no then you won't be able to use the CS6 upgrade beyond the 30 day trial period.
