Is the hard drive the only thing you changed in your computer?

Did you reinstall the same operating system that was on the drive when it failed?

Your best bet is to contact customer support through the Chat system.

When you have a non-functioning computer and can't deactivate a serial number

Be sure to ONLY ask for activation support to adjust your activation count
