Registration Unsuccessful Error

So my computer crashed and i had to re installed my creative suite adobe standard cs3 and its giving me the following: Registration Unsuccessful   A problem was encountered while trying to send information over the Internet. i have an account already and it has my serial number and an Name for Adobe Community forums ID #. I can't use my photo enhancements or layers please help.
