Reinstall

I've recently got a new computer at work. We did the transfer of everything but my Adobe CS6 isn't working, there is at least one issue with each program. On some it suggests a reinstall. To do this do I go through the uninstall process then put the disks in and try and install again? I want to make sure it will install again as it has been put on a computer before (we are going to reformat that computer and install all new programs.)
