I want to try to have a clean after effects installed on my mac Mavericks. How do I do that.

I removed the Afer Effects cc from application - but still the creative cloud says that it is up to date. (I have not deleted it - only moved it to my document folder)

So how do I get it to install the after effects again?

To uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud applications you need to run an uninstaller. Don't drag the application folder to the trash; this will cause complications when you do try to uninstall or reinstall.

    1. Put the Adobe After Effects CC folder back into the Applications folder.
    2. Go to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers and run Uninstall Adobe After Effects CC.
    3. You may need to quit and restart the Creative Cloud manager application for it to recognize that After Effects is no longer installed. (Click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the manager to quit, then go to Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud to start it again. Or just reboot your computer.)

Maybe the CC Cleaner will help? Use at your own risk.
