Reinstall Captivate subscription

I lost the hard drive Captivate was on and now need to reinstall it on the new hard drive. Is there a place where I can find step by step what to do?

if your link fails too, contact adobe support. i'm not sure they can/will help with captivate but it's worth trying.

 

there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

If this is a subscription version you should be able to log into your Adobe account and re-install. If this is an enterprise account, you will need to contact your admin.

 

If this is an older, pre-subscription, non-enterprise version you will need your original installation media or download. This may directly from Adobe or from the vendor you bought it from. If you do not have the installation media or if you run into an issue with too many activations of older Adobe software, you may end up needing to purchase a new subscription license.
